Strangers

Things were much simpler when we were oblivious towards the possibility of loving a stranger. We were told to not speak to strangers when we were little, perhaps it's not just because they're bad people that's going to harm us physically, perhaps they know what happens when you get to know one. They should have warned us about falling in love as well, they should have warned us about the consequences of falling in love with one, that your heart might be at risk of breaking, or worse, lost. You see, broken hearts can be mended, lost hearts on the other hand is a different story.
